Divas ‘Til Death
“Superman changes in a phone booth, I use my car,” is the mantra of frenzied television news reporter, Callie Kinsey. The daughter of a quirky, free love hippie, Callie doesn’t know much about her family’s past, but she is determined to make a future for herself in broadcast news while still finding time for her passion of riding hunter/jumper horses.
With her station recently sold and jobs on the line, Callie can’t believe the good fortune of stumbling across a dead body in a ditch. (“Good” strictly in a career saving capacity, naturally.) The victim turns out to be a wealthy equestrian — the first of three who will ultimately be found strangled along the peaceful rolling pastures of prestigious Chanticleer Farms.
Unfortunately for the struggling news reporter, the best story ever quickly couldn’t get any worse.
First she’s snubbed by the snobs at the stables while trying to cover the breaking news. Then, her proximity to the victims, at a time she most needs media exposure, catapults her to the top of the list of suspects.
Determined to save her reputation and job, Callie manages to break into the inner sanctum of the equestrian elite, where she makes the surprising discovery that the wild lifestyles of the Divas may have lead to their deadly demise. Secrets are unveiled, suspects pop up like obstacles in the show ring, and Callie, a little too absorbed in chasing the story, not only closes in on the killer but inadvertently falls into the hands of the psychopath and in extreme danger of becoming the next victim.
A SECRET, A PSYCHIC AND A SCAM
Callie Kinsey thinks she’s living the dream life when she moves into Chanticleer, a gorgeous elite equestrian center, but soon she’s plagued by nightmares of being buried alive.
After a great ride and a couple glasses of wine, a quirky client volunteers to create a forensic sketch of the dream. The women are shocked to discover the woman in the shallow grave is not Callie, but a real missing person.
While Callie wonders why she’s dreaming of someone she never met, investigators have questions of their own: namely what she knows about the disappearance and ultimately if she is involved in the crime.
Eager to discover the reason behind the dreams and to clear her name, Callie turns to any source imaginable, from psychics to shamans.
Rather than finding answers, her investigation throws her into the midst of the killer and in danger of joining the missing woman in a shallow grave — right on her new property.

Despite doing everything in her power to keep Sage Sawyer away from Chanticleer, the adult film star not only weasels her way in – she joins the elite group of riders on a trip to Palm Beach for one of the most prestigious horse shows in the country.
While Sage swears she’s fleeing California to retire from the porn business, Callie quickly realizes there’s something far more sinister at hand. First one of Sage’s business associates turns up dead at the hotel, then Sage and Callie discover someone has hacked into their lives. The question now is who is behind the threats and whether they are dealing with a cyber predator or if a killer is in their midst.
Callie started out worrying that the whole ordeal threatened to destroy the reputation of Chanticleer, but now, as threats become reality, she finds her career and even her life in danger as she closes in on the crime ring.
